What do I need to bring to be prepared for class?

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to your first class to get registered and fill out our health waiver. Please bring a yoga mat, water and towel. Bottled water is also available for purchase.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Since many of our classes sell-out, we highly recommend making a reservation if you want to guarantee a spot in class. Otherwise, spots fill on a first-come, first served basis.

Will my class package I purchased expire?

Yes, Groove class packages do expire after the purchase date:

5 classes/3 months

10 classes/6 months

20 classes/9 months

It is our policy not to extend the expiration unless it’s for an emergency medical situation accompanying doctor’s notes or other documentation. If you’re unsure of when you’re package expires, you may check your Mindbody Online account, or we will gladly assist you at the studio.

How hot is the room going to be?

Our classes will be moderately heated to around 80-86 degrees. During our signature class, Hot Groove Hour, we will be raising the temperature closer to 90 degrees.
Do you have showers or childcare available?
We offer separate men’s and women’s dressing areas, as well as a restroom for your convenience. Our current location does not offer showers or childcare at this time.

Which classes have music?

All classes at Groove are accompanied by adrenaline-pumping pop, rock and hip-hop music. Got a favorite song? Let us know and we’ll incorporate it into one of our upcoming playlists!

How old do I have to be to practice at Groove?

Children under 18 must have a parent present to sign the health waiver on their first day. Bring your kids or your Grandma, all ages are welcome!

Do you have gift cards available? How do I purchase them?

We have gift cards available for purchase at the studio. We accept cash, check and credit cards for those purchases. At this time gift cards cannot be purchased online.

I forgot to bring my wallet to the studio, can i still attend class?

We require payment before class starts, so please ensure you have either an active membership or punch-card at the studio, or carry your wallet with you when attending classes. Unfortunately, unless you can find a friend to spot you, unpaid students will be turned away and not be able to attend class.

I didn't use all my class package, can I transfer them to a friend or family member?

When purchasing a punch-card or unlimited membership, it is only good for the person you are purchasing for. Class packages are not transferable to friends or family members unless there is an emergency medical situation. Please contact us for more details if needed.

I heard you have an intro for first-timer students. How does that work?

Our $60/1 month unlimited intro special is offered to brand new students only.

I signed-up for the groove unlimited membership and want to cancel?

We are happy to accommodate your cancellation any time after the 3 month auto-deduct contract expires. The unlimited membership will automatically continue after the 3 months unless you advise us to cancel it. Please send those requests, 30 days in advance of wanting to cancel, to groovy@grooveyogabend.com.

You may either purchase your class online with Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express, or you may pay for your classes upon arriving at the studio with the above credit cards, or by cash or check.

If I have an injury, can I still practice at groove?

We request that you consult with your doctor prior to practicing and to please inform our instructors so we may assist you with various poses and make adjustments to your practice when necessary.

Remember to cancel class reservation if unable to attend!

We request that all clients cancel online reservations within one (1) hour of the classes start time so we may accommodate other clients on our waiting list. Simply return to your online reservation and click the cancel button.

If a client fails to cancel their reservation, they will be notified via email and a class will be automatically deducted from your class package OR a $10 charge will be applied to your account if you are a monthly unlimited customer.

Groove reserves the right to cancel a Workshop unless minimum number of participants in Workshop is met. You will be notified via email if you’ve pre-registered for a Workshop and it has been canceled.
